stay "とどまる"

The title "Stay" is based on Zen philosophy, which are physical and mental practice. In this GlogauAIR project, I’d like to work on making 1000 cm drawings in the forest in Berlin where I began to live near by since moving from Japan to Germany to settle 3 months ago. This is the place rebuilding my life in Berlin Germany.I will talk about background of researching in Zen practice.I realised that the fact behind of painting exists the body.My research on Zen philosophy for the GlogauAIR project. I chose to begin Zen because some forms of seated Buddhist meditation emphasize using your body to discover the truth rather than relying on theories in your head. That is where your own body should be. A daily Zen practice. Day1 After about 20 minutes, I begin to experience numbness in my lower body, and my focus shifts to my body. After 30 minutes, my lower body begins to vibrate slightly due to the cold outside and the numbness in my body. When I lose my concentration, I stop. When I try to become empty, distracting thoughts enter my mind, and I try to become empty again, and my brain attempts to control me. Day2 For the time being, about 3 or 4 cm of snow has accumulated. Because it was snowing today, the sound of the snow bothered me and caused me to think more deeply than usual. When I noticed it, my legs were numb as usual. My legs began to feel completely numb after exactly 20 minutes. I tried to relax my mind so that I could concentrate for another ten minutes, but my thoughts began to wander again. Day3 Due to the heavy snowfall, I am at home today. I was barefoot and crossed my legs. After a few minutes, I started to experience numbness from my toes to my heels. I relaxed my shoulders and took a deep breath with my diaphragm. After that, I felt relaxed and pulled into the proper position, chin in, focusing on my torso and Tanden. I have lost my focus, so that is all for today. Day4 I did not eat anything before sitting. All of my thoughts in life came to mind. I could not concentrate, so I tried to speak up. Ah. I take in deep breaths. After 20 minutes, my legs begin to numb as usual, so I direct my energy to my body and continue for 40 minutes. Day5 After the cold shower, I had breakfast, and then I did Zen practice. I finished in 10 minutes because I was sleepy and unable to concentrate. What I regret today is that I ate breakfast before starting Zen practice. Even though a cold shower woke me up, putting food in my stomach would place a heavy burden on my body. Day6 It was 0 degrees outside, but the snow had finally melted and the temperature was rising, so I decided to go outside. Strangely, I did not feel cold. After I finished, I felt cold. Day7 I checked the time if it was about time, and it was exactly 40 minutes. I was starting to get the hang of things. Day8 It was extremely difficult to become unconscious, so I tried to be in a neutral state, like a relaxed state. Then my eyes would naturally open halfway. In the middle of the process, I could have recognise the birds singing into my body
